The Terry Fox National Ride of Hope is a cycling event which will travel through Ontario between June 20th to July 2nd. This ride, which includes Darrell Fox (brother of Terry Fox) will be riding coast-to-coast to honour the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. The event includes a core group of approximately 8 riders. This group will be entering Ontario from the Manitoba border on June 20th and proceeding southeast, crossing at Manitoulin Island into Tobermory on June 28th. The ride will proceed to Ottawa for July 1st, and pass into Quebec on July 2nd.

The group will be passing through our area on June 28th, 2025.

The OPP will have 4 motorcycles and other cruisers escorting the riders. The riders will depart towards Wiarton, arriving at approximately 3:30 PM. The riders will depart Wiarton at 3:45 PM, where the riders will continue their ride towards Meaford at 6:00 PM with an estimated time of arrival of 5:45 PM.
