We are back for the 5th Annual Wiarton Seedy Saturday, a celebration of seed saving on the Peninsula!

Saturday, April 11th, 2026

10am to 2pm

Wiarton Arena and Community Centre

This is a free community event with entry by donation to the Wiarton and District Agricultural Society.

Expect a fun event where you can swap seeds, exchange stories, pick up useful resources, meet local farmers, growers and nature lovers, buy seeds, and find other supplies.

Tea, coffee, and muffins will be available.

Seedy Saturday events (www.seeds.ca) encourage the use of open-pollinated and heritage seeds, enabling a local seed exchange, and educating the public about seed-saving and environmentally responsible gardening practices.
